The 54th Hamburg International Boat Show, hanseboot 2013, will open its gates to the world of watersports this Saturday stretching on more than 75,000 square metres of exhibition space. This year’s official partner country is Estonia. Explore sailing trends and innovations, a wide range of sailing boat premieres, new motorboats, see innovations and new equipment in windsurfing, wakeboarding, canoeing, kayaking and diving, discover the most attractive cruise areas in the world with the help of renowned cruise experts or boost your know-how at the hanseboot refit arena showcasing professional refit and upgrade work live at the lower level of hall B4. Futhermore, this year’s 34th International Yacht Performance Symposium will cover a series of lectures held by international yachting experts in Hamburg on November 1st and 2nd.
Plenty of action from surfing, sailing to stand up paddling you can expect at the hanseboot arena – the large indoor pool will feature large wind machines to provide perfect conditions for live demonstrations. Likewise located in hall B1 will be the hanseboot Beach Lounge bringing a piece of the Baltic beaches into the Hamburg trade fair halls. Stroll on real Baltic sand, head for a drink at the special beach bar (a converted nine meter long sail boat with a mahagoni hull) or complete a dry run in a surfing or kiting simulator. Opening hours of hanseboot, Hamburg International Boat Show 2013, will be daily from 10.00 am — 6.00 pm and on Wednesday (30 October ) from 10.00 am — 8.00 pm.
