Genève-Le Bouveret-Genève: World’s largest regatta on an inland lake organised by the renowned Swiss Yacht club Société Nautique de Genève (SNG) is set to take place from 13 to 15 June. The Bol d’Or Mirabaud regatta 2014 with Gaastra as the official clothing supplier will welcome, once again, to the 76th edition of the ‘International Grande Classique Régate’ nearly 600 sailboats and about 3000 crew members at the Swiss sailing regatta on Lake Geneva (French: Lac Léman). Following the Opening Ceremony on Friday evening at the clubhouse, the starting signal for the Bol d’Or Mirabaud 2014 Regatta will be given at 10 am (CET) – the 66,5 nautical miles racecourse starts from the westside of Lake Geneva leading to the rounding mark at the halfway point, Le Bouveret (except the new offset mark for multi-hulls) and back to the finish line at SNG Port Noir club harbour. Once again, the SNG-flagged America’s Cup winner (2003 and 2007) Alinghi by Ernesto Bertarelli will be vying for success at the Swiss sailing event.
